Rev Dr Karl Hand
Karl Hand is an ordained minister in Metropolitan Community Church, and the founding pastor of Crave MCC in Sydney Australia. He has taught Exegesis and Greek courses at UTC as well as Australian Catholic University, and the University of Newcastle. He holds two masters degrees and a PhD in theology and philosophy.
Karl has an evangelical theology and a pentecostal spirituality. He is passionate about social transformation, and is the co-convenor of Community Action Against Homophobia, an activist group which campaigns for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community in Australia.

Steff Fenton
Steff has been part of the Anglican Church of Australia for almost 30 years, and currently attends an Anglican Church in Sydney’s Inner West. She identifies as lesbian/gay/queer, and writes about her experience as a queer Christian at www.queervangelical.com. Steff was two years working as a Sunday School Coordinator and three years of high school mentoring with AIME & Youth Frontiers. Steff is studying a Masters of Divinity through Trinity College Theological School, Melbourne.

Liam Webb
Liam Webb teaches in Christian higher education lecturing in Aural Perception and chamber music. He wishes to integrate spiritual formation and community engagement into his courses, and see his young students grow not only in their academic capabilities but also in their faith in Christ and sense of vocation. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Education in Sydney. Liam identifies as gay, is an active and proud member of the Uniting Church in Australia and Leichhardt Uniting Church, where he preaches, leads worship, and is a member of church council.
Liam’s favourite things to do: playing bassoon/piano/singing/drumming, Bollywood dancing, playing with his dog, eating vegan food, shopping ethically, leading worship, playing for nursing homes, teaching and spending time with his students.

Rev Elizabeth Plant
Elizabeth is the co-founding Pastor of Spark, an independent inclusive Christian church in South West Sydney, with her wife Bec. She is has a Pentecostal background, taught Biblical Studies in a previous life, and is on the Board on an International Christian Bible College. She has written songs for worship and established an annual retreat for LGBTQI worship leaders. Elizabeth is passionate about seeing people connect with God and be convinced of how deep and wide and long and high Gods love is for each of us; that God has a beautiful plan for each person. Her desire is to see everyone live authentic abundant audacious lives, knowing that nothing can separate us from the the love of God.
